MONTEPULCIANO

Historical signs: vine from the uncertain origins, seems that I/you/he/she originate from the zone of Montepulciano in the province in Siena.
And' largely diffused in the whole center-southern Italy.

Characters Ampelografici: middle leaf, pentagonal, pentalobata - middle cluster, conic-cylindrical, compact with one or two wings - middle grape, sub-oval with pruinose peel, thick, consistent of black-violet color.
The plant is subject to the green acinellatura.

Maturation: late

Vigor: average

The wine's characteristics: it draws a wine red intense ruby, middly tannico and alcoholic, good body and proper for the aging.

Largely diffused in central Italy, it reenters in a lot of DOCs as Tear of I will Die Of dawn, Red Conero, Red Piceno, Necks Amerini, Red Orvietano, Montepulciano of Abruzzo, Controguerra, Biferno and in the DOCG Torgiano it Reserves.
