Historical signs: its name derives from muscum (musk) because of the characteristic intense perfume of the grape.
And' a diffused vine in the whole Mediterranean from ancient times.

Characters ampelografici: middle leaf, pentagonal, trios or pentalobata - middle cluster, cylindrical-pyramidal, winged, compact or seed-spargolo - middle grape, spherical, with thin peel of yellow-green color.

Maturation: precocious average

Vigor: good

The wine's characteristics: the wine that draws has different characteristics to according to of the zone of cultivation: in the coldest as sweet wine introduces him, aromatic, often in fizzy or foamy version; in southern Italy from wines origin liquorosi more intense aromas and more color ambratos.

It reenters in the DOCG Moscato in Asti and in a lot of DOCs as: Loazzolo, Valley of Aosta Chambave, Muscat of Sardinia, Muscat of Sip-Sennori, Moscadello of Montalcino, Muscat of Trani, Muscat of Known, Muscat of Syracuse, Necks Euganei, Necks Piacentini.
