MULLER THURGAU

 
 

Historical signs: vine gotten by the intersection between Rhine Riesling and Silvaner, in 1882 from Hermann Muller of Thurgau (from which the name).
You/he/she has spread with success in Germany, Switzerland, in Central Europe and in Northern Italy. And' present also in many extraeuropean countries, particularly in New Zelanda.

Characters ampelografici: middle leaf, pentagonal, pentalobata - small cluster, cylindrical-pyramidal, winged, middly compact - middle grape, ellipsoidal with peel rich in pruina and thin of yellow-green color.

Maturation: precocious

Vigor: very good

The wine's characteristics: it draws a yellow wine from the reflexes verdolini, from the aromatic intense perfume slightly, poor of acidity.
