BITTER BLACK

 
 

Bitter Nicra, Black Leccese, Abbruzzese

Historical signs: certain news don't be had on its origin.
And' a diffused vine in Puglia and particularly in the provinces of Lecce, Taranto and Brindisi.
Its name derives from the very dark color of the grapes and from the bitter taste of the wine.

Characteristic ampelografiche: great leaf, pentagonal, trios or pentalobata - middle, trunk-conic, short and shut cluster - middle-great grape, obovoide, pruinose peel, thick, consistent of black-violet color.

Maturation: average

Vigor: excellent

The wine's characteristics: it draws a wine from the color red pomegranate, from the bitterish taste.

It competes in the DOCs Alezio, Brindisi, Copertino, Galatina, Joy of the Hill, Leverano, Lizzano, Martina, Nardò, Red of Cerignola, Squinzano.
