Historical signs: despite the name, it is one of the best Sicilian vines; nevertheless you/he/she has not succeeded in going up again to the period of diffusion in the island.

Characters Ampelografici: middle leaf, orbicolare, whole - middle cluster, conic, compact with a wing - middle grape, oval, with pruinose peel, leathery, of blue color.

Maturation: average

Vigor: elevated

The wine's characteristics: it draws a very alcoholic wine, of good acidity, full-bodied.
You/he/she can be vinificato in purity or in uvaggio with Nerello Mascalese or Frappato of Victoria.
It competes in the DOCs Cerasuolo of Victoria, County of Sclafani, Eloro, Marsala, Menfi, Sambuca of Sicily, Saint Margherita of Belice.
