REFOSCO DA THE RED SHANK

 
 

Refosco, Terrano (in the zone of the Carso).



Historical signs: autochtonous vine of the Friuli where already from 1700 it was largely diffused.

Characters Ampelografici: great leaf, pentagonal or orbicolare, trilobata - middle-great cluster, pyramidal, winged, middly spargolo - middle grape, round with thick and leathery peel of black-blue color.

Maturation: middle-late

Vigor: very good

The wine's characteristics: it draws a wine from the deep color, intense perfumes; to the taste introduces him savory, slightly tannico, with aftertaste ammandorlato, edi good body.

It reenters in the DOCs Carso, Oriental Necks of the Friuli, Friuli Annia, Serious, Isonzo, Latisana, Lison-Pramaggiore.
