TRAMINER

 
 

Gewurztraminer, gnawed Traminer, Traminer, Savagnin, aromatic Termeno.

Generality: conflicting they are the opinions around his/her origins: some believe that originates from the Tirol, others from the Alsazia, others still in the zone of the Rhine.
With all probability it is the result of intersections and domesticazioni of wild vines of central and north-western Europe.
Two principal typologies exist: Aromatic Traminer or Gewurztraminer from the most marked taste and the red Traminer, from the simplest and neutral taste; from these two typologies, they derive then numerous biotipi both to red berry and to white berry.
Its cultivation is diffused especially in northern Italy.

Characters Ampelografici: small leaf, pentagonal or orbicolare, trios or pentalobata - small, trunk-conic, winged and compact cluster - middle grape with pruinose peel, thick, consistent from the grey-red color.

Vigor: average

The wine's characteristics: it draws a wine from the color yellow pale yellow load, aromatic, alcoholic and little coolness.

It reenters in different DOC as: Trentino, Tall Adige, Oriental Necks of the Friuli, Carso, Serious, Collio, Annia, Aquileia, Latisana, Isonzo of the Friuli.
